Tai Chi Chuan is an internal martial art used by the Chinese for thousands of years as a vehicle for self-cultivation and self defense. An exercise of the body, mind and spirit, Tai Chi Chuan consists of slow and even movements relaxing the body and the mind, promoting the flow of vital energy, and replacing stiffness with flexibility and body co-ordination.
Teenagers who study martial arts learn how to face their fears and overcome their problems self-control and discipline. Our classes emphasize core values like discipline, respect, and persistence. Students learn that the way they treat others; in and out of martial arts class and reflects on them as people and affects their ability to achieve their goals.

At American Karate Studios we are determined to provide every student, regardless of their ability, with quality tumbling & top notch tumbling instruction. We strongly believe in building character and life skills in an athletic setting.

Our Mission at American Karate Studios is to provide a safe space for encouraging healthy attitudes toward fitness and nutrition. Our Martial Arts program was created to build a dynamic and supportive atmosphere for developing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual strength. In addition our Martial Arts being fun, our classes provide a platform for helping our students young and old, cultivate confidence, self-control, courtesy, and resiliency in a positive learning environment.

We do not give belt rank based on how many classes you attend or how long you've been enrolled; it's based on hard work and dedication.
